Dakota Goyo
Dakota Goyo ( born August 22, 1999 Toronto, Ontario as Dakota Avery Goyo ) is a Canadian actor.
Life and career
Dakota Goyo was born as the youngest of three sons of Debra, a former model and singer, and David Goyo in Toronto. At the age of five, he got his first role in the pilot episode for the CBS series Ultra that eventually but no series was created. Also in 2005, he spoke a brief cameo in the animated series JoJo's Circus. In 2007, he was next to Samuel L. Jackson to see as a movie son of Josh Hartnett and Kathryn Morris in the film The Champ in the role of Teddy Kernan. This role earned him not only good reviews and a nomination at the Young Artist Awards 2008 in the category Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film - Ten years or younger one. In the same year he played the role of Timmy Winters, the great-grandson of Susan Sarandon's character in the film drama Emotional Arithmetic. It was followed by 2009, the role of Jack Carter in the movie Defendor, a guest appearance on the TV series The Listener - clairaudient, as well as the supporting role as Alwyn Jones in the detective series Murdoch Mysteries. In the same year he was cast for the Solving Charlie ABC series in the title role, of which only a pilot episode was produced. In 2010, he auditioned for the animated series Arthur and his friends on the role of Timmy Tibble and did a guest appearance in the short-lived television series Happy Town. At the age of ten he was selected for the role of Max Kenton in DreamWorks ' sci-fi film Real Steel. For this role, Goyo won at the Young Artist Awards 2012 the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture and was nominated at the Saturn Awards 2012 for Best Young Actor. After the filming to end Real Steel, he stood as a young Thor in the eponymous film based on the comic book character of the same name also the publisher Marvel, before the camera. In 2011, he took a role in RL Stine's Mystery horror television series RL Stine 's The Haunting Hour. The end of 2012 took over Goyo the synchronous role of Jamie Bennett in the computer-animated 3-D action movie The keepers of the light.
