Dalaguete, Cebu

Dalaguete is a Philippine municipality in the province of Cebu. It has 63 239 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

The municipality is located in the south of the island of Cebu, approximately 85 kilometers south of Cebu City and can be reached via the coastal highway. Your neighboring municipalities are Argao in the north, Alcoy in the south, Badian and Alegria are in the West. In the east the island of Bohol, separated by the Strait of Cebu by the municipality is located. The topography of the community is described up to the narrow coastal strip as mountainous, with deep valleys and high plateaus. On the territory of the municipality is the Osmeña peak with 1,013 meters above sea level the highest mountain on the island of Cebu.
