Dale Frail

Dale Frail Andrew ( b. 1961 ) is a Canadian radio astronomer.

Frail works for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory ( NRAO ) in Socorro, New Mexico. He received his Ph.D.. Besides his search for planetary bodies outside the solar system, he also studied at the University of Toronto in 1989 GRBs.

The beginning of 1992 while he was working for NRAO, he was together with the Polish astronomer Aleksander Wolszczan the discovery of two planets and a possible third to the pulsar PSR B1257 12 is known. Their discovery was confirmed in mid-1992. The discovery is remarkable because it was not only the first pulsar planets, but also the first exoplanet ever.
