Daley Blind

Daley Blind (born 9 March 1990 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player. Since the summer of 2008, the Defensive Specialist is the pro squad of the Dutch first division club Ajax Amsterdam.

Career

Association

Blind played until 1998 at AFC Amsterdam, before he came into the football academy of Ajax Amsterdam. There he went through the youth teams, until he moved into the senior squad of the club in the summer of 2008. In December of the same year the young player got his first professional contract at the Amsterdam capital club. Shortly before, on December 7, 2008, was blind in the away match against FC Volendam his league debut and was able to convince it. By the end of 2009, he came in five league games and a game in the UEFA Cup for use. His current contract runs until the summer of 2016. Since it does not match practice was at Ajax in the 2009/10 season in the first team, he was loaned out for the second half of the season to the league rivals FC Groningen. Under coach Martin Jol blind also came in the 2010/ 11 first not to the course.
