Dalia (oil field)

The Dalia oil field is an oil deposit in the South Atlantic Ocean 135 km off the coast of the Angolan enclave of Cabinda.

Dalia was discovered in 1996, explored since 2006 and has launched the oil production. The capacity of the field is estimated at one billion barrels, which are about 1.4 × 108 tons. Store 1200 to 1500 meters below the sea surface. The daily production of 240,000 barrels, about 87.5 million barrels per year. Largest licensee of the conveyor consortium is Total. Involved are also Statoil, ExxonMobil and BP.

To promote a built by the Korean company Samsung Heavy Industries Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit is employed.
