Dallas County (Missouri)
The Dallas County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. In 2010, the County had 16.777 inhabitants and a population density of 12 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Buffalo.
Geography
The County is located in the central south-west of Missouri at the northern edge of the Ozarks. It has an area of 1406 square kilometers, of which three square miles are water. At the Dallas County borders the following Nachbarcountys:
History
The Dallas County was formed in 1841. It was named for George M. Dallas (1792-1864), the 11th U.S. Vice President under James K. Polk.

According to the census in 2010 lived in Dallas County 16,777 people in 6444 households. The population density was 12 people per square kilometer. In the 6444 households lived statistically 2.58 per person.
