Dalmanutha

Dalmanutha ( Greek δαλμανουθα ) is mentioned in the new testament place on the Sea of Galilee in Israel.

In Mk 8.10 EU Mark writes: " And immediately he rose with his disciples into the boat, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha. " This happened after the " feeding of the four thousand ." Matthew writes in Mt 15,39 EU after the feeding ". And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up into the ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala "

Therefore, scientists suspect that Dalmanutha could refer to the Greek Wachturmin near Magdala, or on Magdala itself. Others suspect that with Dalmanutha the village of ruins El- Mejdel in Ain -el- Barideh valley, about one kilometer away from Magdala, is meant. Still others suspect that was at Magdala called so the area.

Outside of the Gospel of Mark, this place is not mentioned in any source.
