Dalton (Dumfries and Galloway)

Dalton is a small settlement south of Dumfries in the district of Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. The city is located 4 km south of the town of Lockerbie, which was made famous by a terrorist attack in the 1980s.

The Church of Dalton was built in the 12th century. It is noteworthy that there are four major families in Dalton, which have been living there for over 200 years.
