Dalverzin -Tepe ( Dal'verzin -Tepe ) are the remnants of an important ancient city in the south of present-day Uzbekistan on Surxondaryo, 20 kilometers south of the present town Denov in the corridor south of the village tally. Dalverzin -Tepe was first probably a small border fortress of the Greco- Bactrian kingdom. It developed in the first century BC to a major city. Maybe it is the remains of the capital of the Yuezhi, which in turn are known mainly from Chinese sources. Under the Kushan Empire, the city experienced its greatest prosperity. The Greco- Bactrian fortress was turned into a citadel. After the third century, the city lost importance and was abandoned around 800.

The town of Kushan was regularly invested with their own neighborhoods for the administration, for dwellings, temples and workshops. The buildings were built of rammed earth. The residences of the upper class usually had one Ivan, an entrance hall, a central hall, the living areas and a home shrine. Underground cables supplied these apartment buildings with water.

There were two Buddhist temples and two temples that were dedicated to a local deity, to be excavated. There was also a Zoroastrian place of worship. On the outskirts of town, there were potteries.
