Damage is based on an idea of the author Bill Joyner who also served as the author of all the stories of the series. DC Comics began in April 1994 with the release of the series, which appeared on a monthly basis from now until January 1996. Total Damage reached twenty-one issues, the issues # 1 to # 20, and # 0 as output designated special issue of October 1994. Principal draftsman of the series was the American Bill Marimon, occasionally by Jason Armstrong. As Pens usually acted Tom McWeeney.

After the adjustment of Damage the figure of eponymous hero Grant Emerson aka Damage from DC Comics was numerous television shows - continue to be used - especially in team series, describing the adventures of entire groups of characters. So Damage belonged temporarily to the main characters such series as The Titans (1994-1996), Titans (1998-2000) and Justice Society of America ( since 2006).

Action

The plot of Damage begins when high school student Grant Emerson one day wakes up and finds that he has miraculously preserved overnight superpowers. From then on he has the ability out of his body to create explosions by bringing things through mere touch to the eruption. There are also some common in superhero comics properties such as superhuman strength, stamina and resilience.

Emerson uses his powers initially to operate as a super hero. Accordingly, he is involved in some genre-typical battles with super villains like Baron Blitzkrieg or Iron Munro. After it is destroyed, the city of Atlanta in the heat of battle accidentally temporarily arrested and expelled from his home state of Georgia. In later editions of his own series Damage joins the superhero team the Titans and discovers the secret of his super powers, which is attributed to the fact that he is the son of the late superhero alias Al Pratt Atom. More psychological stories involve Damages attempt to make the murderer of a school friend identified and the formulation of a long-repressed childhood trauma, abuse by his foster father. Last Damaga lived for a while in a reservation for the Indians before the superhero team the Justice Society joins.
