The Damanganga ( Gujarati: દમણગંગા Damanganga [ ˌ d̪ʌmʌɳɡʌŋɡɑ ː ], also: Daman Ganga ) is a river in western India. It rises in the Western Ghats in the district of Valsad in the south of Gujarat. From there, it runs in a north -westerly direction and flows through the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. After he re-entered the Gujarat area for a short section, it opens in the city of Daman, which is part of the union territory of Daman and Diu, in the Arabian Sea. The length of the Damanganga is 64 kilometers. At its middle reaches it is dammed to Madhuban Dam.
