Dame Gruev

Damjan Jowanow Gruew called Lady Gruew ( Bulgarian Дамян Йованов Груев, or Даме Груев; born January 19, 1871 in Smilewo, now in Macedonia, † December 23, 1906 at Mount Petlez, now in Macedonia) was a revolutionary and is considered a leading personality of the BMARK ( Bulgarian Macedonian - Adrian Opeler Revolutionary committees / Български Македоно - Одрински революционни комитети, a forerunner of the IMRO )

On 23 October 1893 he was next to Christ Tatartschew, Petar Poparsow, Christo Batandschiew, Anton Dimitrov and Ivan Chadschinikolow, founder of the Bulgarian revolutionary committees in Thessaloniki, the (short BMARK ) marked the beginning of the Bulgarian Macedonia - Adrian Opeler Revolutionary Committee.
