Damlos is a municipality in the district of East Holstein in Schleswig -Holstein. Altdorf, Kosel Auermühle and the Good Sebent lie in the municipality.
Geography and transport
Damlos lies in a forested and meadow rich environment just 5 km north of Lensahn and the motorway exit of the same name, the A 1 / E 47 about 7 km north of Damlos Oldenburg in Holstein lies.
History
Numerous burial mounds from the Neolithic period and the Bronze Age show a prehistoric settlement of the township. 1928 grave, which was built around 2800 BC was opened.
The place name derives from the altpolabischen Dabolazy and means Oak clearing.
