Dan Boyle (politician)

Dan Boyle ( born August 14, 1962) is an Irish politician and senator in Seanad Éireann since 2007.

1991 Boyle was elected as the first politician of his party in the Cork City Council (Cork City Council). In 2002 he resigned this office since he was elected in the same year in the Dáil Éireann. However, his local seat he could not defend in the 2007 elections. During his office served in the Irish House of Commons Boyle Whip was his party, this corresponds to a Parliamentary CEO. In the course of participation in the government of his party Boyle was appointed by Taoiseach Brian Cowen in Seanad Éireann senator in 2007, making it next to Niall Ó Brolcháin and Mark Deary one of the three green senators.

Boyle is married and has one daughter.
