Dan Castellaneta

Dan Castellaneta ( born October 29, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois; actually Daniel Louis Castellaneta ) is an American actor, screenwriter and voice of many cartoon characters.

Life and work

He had 1987 in the Tracey Ullman Show, in which he took on various roles his first television appearances. The first few minutes long episodes of the Simpsons were on display in this show, and Castellaneta took over the voice of Homer Simpson. As The Simpsons in 1989 got its own half-hour timeslot, he was taken as a speaker and speaks for the series to date. Several supporting characters like Abraham Simpson, Barney Gumble or Joe Quimby are synchronized from him.

Dan Castellaneta also took in other animated series speaking roles and was engaged in several film productions for supporting roles as an actor. He also guest starred in many American television series.

When his mother Elsie Castellaneta died, her mother and Harry Shearer was dedicated to a Simpsons episode ( Homer's mother ) deals entirely with the death of Mona Simpson.

2010 Got Castellaneta U.S. $ 400,000 for each episode of the Simpsons. 2013 are $ 300,000.
