Dan Corneliusson

Mats Dan Erling Corneliusson ( born October 2, 1961 in Trollhättan ) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Corneliusson began his career at IFK Gothenburg. In 1982, he won the Swedish Championship with the club and was both in the regular season with twelve gates and in the championship round with eight goals in six games scorer. Also in the European Cup he was successful with the club and was able to win the title in the UEFA Cup 1981/82. 3-0 away win at Hamburger SV in the final second leg he made with the gate to a 1-0 lead for the preliminary decision in favor of the Northern Europeans.

In the following season, where the club was champion again, Corneliusson played only the first half of the season for IFK. He then moved to the Bundesliga for VfB Stuttgart. Here he was as HSV- fright, the runner-up was only to re- master and had twelve gates second most successful season together with Karl Allgöwer and Ásgeir Sigurvinsson scorer of the club, behind Peter Reichert, enter the 13 results.

After just one season in German football Corneliusson moved further south and he signed for Como Calcio. The club had risen in the Serie A and the Swedish striker was one of the key players in the premier league. After the club after five years returned back to Serie B left Corneliusson Italy and hired at Malmö FF. His career ended when unterklassigen Qviding FIF.

Corneliusson was 22 times the Swedish national team and scored 13 goals.
