Dan Graham

Dan Graham ( born March 31, 1942 in Urbana, Illinois ) is a New York based American sculptor, conceptual and video artist.

Life

Graham studied philosophy at New York's Columbia University. 1969 he has held for a year teaching at the University of California in San Diego and in fact follow year to 1971 at Nova Scotia College of Art in Halifax.

Dan Graham is for the younger generation of artists, one of the most influential conceptual artist who has found his work early in the autonomy of the artistic work in question and reflects the role of popular culture.
