Dan Hacker

Daniel " Dan " Hacker ( born January 14, 1982 in El Centro, California) is an American professional ice hockey player who plays on the position of the center. Since 2009 he is at the SERC Wild Wings from the German ice hockey league under contract.

Career

Dan Hacker began his career in 1999 at the Omaha Lancers in the USHL Junior Hockey League, with whom he won the Clark Cup as champions of the league in the 2000/ 01 season. After that, the striker moved to the college league NCAA, where he laced 2001-2005 for the University of Nebraska skates. After one season for the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL, he went in 2006 for the Iowa Stars in the American Hockey League on the ice.

Then moved hackers to Europe, where he first went later in the 2007/ 08 season in the top Finnish league for Saimaan Pallo and a play time for the Helsingfors IFK hunting for goals.

For the season 2009/10 the Americans came to Germany, where he has is at the Schwenningen Wild Wings under contract. In Schwenningen he met his former team-mates Steve Silverthorn, with whom he played along the Iowa Stars already at the Idaho Steelheads. Since the 2013/14 season he played with the Schwenningen Wild Wings in the DEL.
