Dan Povenmire

Daniel K. Povenmire ( born September 18, 1963 in San Diego ) is an American cartoonist, writer, producer, screenwriter, art director and voice actor. With Jeff Marsh, he invented the animated series Phineas and Ferb.

Biography

After he graduated from high school, Dan Povenmire attended USC. Dan Povenmires first professional steps began with the animated series Rocko's Modern Life in 1993. He won by Jeff Marsh EMA Award 1996 for work on the episode " O-Town cleans up" from " Rocko's Modern Life ".

From 1999 to 2002 Dan Povenmire worked on the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants with as well as on Family Guy and was in the years 2000 to 2006 for his work on the episodes " Peace be with you " and " PTV " Family Guy nominated for an Emmy Award. Also in 2006, Dan Povenmire was nominated for his work on the episode " PTV " of Family Guy for the Annie Award. Since 2007, Dan Povenmire worked with Jeff Marsh on the animated series Phineas and Ferb as a director, screenwriter, producer and artistic director. In the English version of the series, he borrows Dr. Doofenshmirtz 's voice.
