Dan Scanlon

Dan Scanlon (born 21 June 1976) is an American storyboard artist and director.

Life

Dan Scanlon grew up in Michigan. In 1998, he received a bachelor 's degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design. He developed storyboards for the films The Little Mermaid 2 - Return to the Sea and 101 Dalmatians 2 - Patch's London Adventure. Since 2001 he has worked for Pixar and worked for the movies Cars and Toy Story 3 as Storyboarder. He was co-director of the short film Mater and the Ghostlight and directed the film Monsters University ( 2013).

Private life

Scanlon lives with his wife in San Francisco.
