Dan Vadis
Dan Vadis ( born January 3, 1938 in Shanghai, China, † June 11, 1987 in Lancaster, California; actually Constantine Daniel Vafiadis ) was an American bodybuilder and actor.
Life
After his army service as a sailor in the United States Navy Vadis as his colleagues Gordon Mitchell and Mickey Hargitay by Mae West's muscleman show was discovered for the film.
From 1962 to Vadis first appeared in Italian peplums, which he usually gave villains in thrillers or spaghetti westerns. A friendship with Clint Eastwood made him a foothold in Hollywood, where he appeared in a number of its films. The end of his career made a unsuccessful attempt to revive the Hercules movies again.
Vadis died in his car at a apparently unintentionally induced drug overdose.
