Dana Ivgy

Dana Ivgy (Hebrew דאנה איבגי; born April 3, 1982 in Tel Aviv, Israel) is an Israeli actress.

Life

Dana Ivgy is the daughter of Israeli filmmaker and actor Moshe Ivgy and actress Irit Sheleg. Her acting debut was in 1992 at the side of her father in Gur Heller Drama Malachim B'Ruah. Greater attention she received in 2002 when she was nominated for her performances in the two Israeli dramas Beitar Provence and The Barbecue People each for the Israeli Film Award Ophir Award for Best Supporting Actress. For her portrayal of Keren Or in Yedayas Drama A daughter, she was awarded in 2004 with an Ophir Award for Best Actress. Two more nominations in the same category followed in 2009 for her acting in Haiu Leilot and Jaffa.
