Dancing on Ice
Dancing on Ice is a TV show, figure skating at the celebrities and B- celebrities.
The show was first broadcast on ITV in the UK in February 2006.
Implementation in different countries
USA
In the U.S., the show was first aired under the title of Skating with Celebrities in January 2006. However, it is hereby noted that it is the U.S. version is a licensed production of Fox International is which has sold the rights for production on the basis of the program Skating with Celebrities on the ProSieben Television GmbH. RTL has subsequently purchased a license to a uniform production of Granada UK that ran on ITV1 in the UK.
Australia
The first season aired in Australia from July to August 2006.
Belgium and Netherlands
In September 2006, the show started on SBS 6 based on the original format of Skating With Celebrities from Fox International. Shortly thereafter began the Dutch station RTL 4 and the Belgian VTM with their local adaptation of the British format of Granada Dancing on Ice UK. In September 2007 VTM starts with ' Sterren Op Het IJs ', on the basis of the format ' Skating With Celebrities.
Germany
RTL
The live broadcast was launched on 9 October 2006 on RTL under the original title Dancing on Ice the local adaptation of the British format of Granada UK, which ran on ITV1, hosted by Mirjam and Wayne Carpendale Weichselbraun. They have been assisted by Sven Authorsen.
The rating by the judges was carried out with a single touch to 6.0 in steps of 0.5 points. The viewers were also able to vote by telephone and SMS. The votes of the judges and the audience were combined. The two couples with the worst score had to compete against each other again. In this " Skate Off" decided only the judges. The couples were coached by Jennifer Goolsbee and Norbert Schramm. The final 2 December 2006 at 21.15 clock wore the couples Ruth Moschner with Carl Briggs and Marco Schreyl with Theresa Schumann ( as a replacement for the injured Sarah Jentgens; Schumann was originally the partner of actor Branco Vukovic ) from. First Season:
In the first season, Oliver Petszokat and Kati Winkler won the title of " Stars on Ice " in front of Charlotte Engelhardt and René Lohse. In 3rd place Lucy Diakovska landed with Silvio Smalun.
Second season:
In the second season, which began on 13 December 2007, participated as a " celebrity " part: Verena Kerth, Giulia Siegel, Susanne Paetzold, Janaína Zarrella, Yvonne Schröder, Christina Surer, Patrick Bach, Patrick Nuo, Bürger Lars Dietrich, Boris Entrup and Frank Matthée. Moderated the season of Katarina Witt, Oliver Petszokat and Charlotte Engelhardt.
Since Jana Ina had begun the elbow in training, she could not occur in the first shipment and had to cancel the whole season. As a replacement ran from the second show Nina Bott.
