Dancourt-Popincourt
Dancourt - Popincourt is a northern French village with 142 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Grand Roye Roye, in the canton.
Geography
The church in the countryside Santerre is about 6 km southwest of Roye at the department of road D930 by Montdidier. The district lies to the north Dancourt, Arrondissement south of the road. Through the municipal area the degraded railway line runs from Roye by Montdidier. On the railway line there are several silos.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
