The Dandenong Valley Highway is a road connection through the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne in the southern Australian state of Victoria. It connects the Mountain Highway in Bayswater (Melbourne ) with the Nepean Highway in Frankston. The highway is mostly not signposted as such, but wearing local street names.

The Verkehrsauflommen has grown steadily over the years. Bottlenecks have arisen above all on Burwood Highway, Ferntree Gully on the Road, at the Wellington Road, on the Princes Highway and at the Thomson Road. Since the East Link, the west parallel to the Dandenong Valley Highway runs in only about 2 km distance, was opened on 29 June 2008, traffic has decreased significantly on the highway.

Course

The Dandenong Valley Highway begins at the Nepean Highway ( S3) in the center of Frankston. In parallel with the railway line to Frankston as he leads two-lane road north east to Frankston Freeway (S11). From there, he performs as a four-lane road with median strip further to the north east to Dandenong, traverses the inner city, the highway to a four-lane road without a central reservation. After leaving the city, the highway has a center strip again and goes north through the suburbs of Rowville and Scoresby, and at Knox Shopping Centre in Wantirna South over. At the Boronia Road in Wantirna Highway is dual carriageway and ends at the Mountain Highway ( S28) in Bayswater.
