Dang Ngoc Long

Dang Ngoc Long ( born 1957 in Vietnam) is a Vietnamese composer and concert guitarist. He completed a master's degree at the Academy of Music " Hanns Eisler" Berlin. Since 2004 he is director of the School of Music Berlin- healthy well.

Biography

From 1985 to 1990 he studied at the Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin with Prof. Inge Wilczok, where he graduated with a diploma as a concert guitarist. From 1990 to 1991, he received a scholarship to study concert. From 1991 to 1993 he received a scholarship for a concert - master 's degree program. He has participated in master classes with Abel Calevaro, Martin Myslivecek, Monika Rost and Alvaro Pierri.

Dang Ngoc Long received in 1987 in Hungary a special prize at the international guitar competitions. In addition to performances in his native Vietnam and in Germany, he also gave concerts in Hungary, the former Czechoslovakia, Italy, Spain, France, etc.. Moreover, he produced many tapes, CDs, radio and television recordings in Vietnam, Germany and other countries. Since 1991 he works as a teacher at the music schools in Berlin- Marzahn and Bernau. In 1994 he initiated the first " Guitar Competition for Guitar Solo" in Bernau. 2001 Dang Ngoc Long has become the initiator of the project and the artistic director of the international guitar festivals in Bernau. Since 2004 he is director of the School of Music Berlin- healthy well. Since 2006, Dang Ngoc Long is the artistic director of the International Guitar Competition & Festival Berlin. 2009, the title Honorary Professor of the International University of Kyrgyzstan, he was awarded.

He has composed many works for guitar solo, duo, trio and quartet, " Tay Nguyen Mountains ", " reminder ", " Prelude No. 1. ", " Mienman ", "The duckweed floating in water, in the sky the clouds - Vietnamese folk Song, "" Fantasia in G major ", " cycle ". Many pieces were selected as compulsory pieces for the international guitar competition: " Prelude No. 1. ", " Mienman ", "For Thay ", " Bamboo -Ber ", " Gian ma Thuong ", " Prelude No.4" and " The ducks green leafs in the water, the sky the clouds ".
