Pablo Daniel Osvaldo ( born January 12, 1986 in Buenos Aires ) is an Italian- Argentine football player who is under contract at FC Southampton and is on loan at Juventus.

Career
In the club
Osvaldo was in 2005 in the second Argentine League CA Huracán his professional debut. After less than a year he moved in 2006 to the Italian second division club Atalanta, came to the club but only three inserts in the season 2005/06. For the new season Atalanta agreed to a co- ownership of U.S. Lecce and Osvaldo played 2006/ 07 for the southern Italian club. In Lecce he came regularly used and scored eight goals in 31 games. At the end of the season Bergamo acquired the complete transfer rights back to Osvaldo and sold the player then to the Fiorentina. Making its debut in the top Italian league, he met in the 3-0 victory over Livorno twice. International, he completed this season for Florence eight games in the UEFA Cup, leaving the semi-final against Rangers he did not, however, be used.
His most important goal was scored by Osvaldo on the final day of the 2007/08 season in the game against FC Turin in the 76th minute with a bicycle kick in a 1-0 win matches; so he secured his club to participate in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
In the 2008 / 09 season, Pablo Osvaldo came after the signing of Alberto Gilardino in Florence often only as a substitute, scoring no goals. That's why he joined in January 2009 for seven million euros to league rivals FC Bologna. In January 2010 he was loaned to the Spanish club Espanyol. The following summer, they agreed on a conversion of the loan contract into a permanent commitment of the attacker. He signed a five-year contract.
During the summer break in 2011 Osvaldo moved to AS Roma. On 18 August 2013, the Roma announced that Osvaldo for 15.1 million euros transferred to FC Southampton. On 31 January 2014, the striker went on loan to Italian giants Juventus until the end of the season.
In the National Team
In November 2007, Osvaldo, who owns both the Italian and the Argentine citizenship took on an invitation by Pierluigi Casiraghi in the Italian U-21 national team. In the finals of the Tournament of Toulon in 2008, he scored the only goal for the U -21 Italy to victory over Chile. On October 11, 2011 Osvaldo made his debut in the Italian national team in the match against Northern Ireland ( 3-0).
