Daniel A. Keim

Daniel A. Keim (* in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German computer scientist and professor at the University of Konstanz. At the University of Munich, he was awarded his doctorate in 1994. He was a lecturer at the Martin- Luther -University Halle and conducted research at AT & T Shannon Research Labs in Florham Park.

He focuses on databases, data-mining and visualization. Germ is the editor of IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering ( TKDE ) and the Information Visualization Journal.
