Daniel Aegerter

Daniel S. Aegerter ( born July 20, 1969 in Berne; homeland justified in Gurzelen ) is a Swiss financier and chairman of its Family Office Group Armada Investment Group AG in Zurich. Aegerter sold in March 2000 its B2B software company Tradex Technologies for 5.6 billion U.S. dollars in Ariba Inc. He found his way to the Top 40 list of the world's richest people under 40 years by Fortune magazine.

In 1988, Aegerter during his banking apprenticeship at Swiss Bank Corporation Swiss import and distribution company Dynabit to trade Apple products. In 1995, he launched an Internet shopping system for customers and suppliers of Dynabit, which provided the basis for the Tradex platform. In 1996, Aegerter from Dynabit out the company Tradex Technologies in Tampa, Florida. The software Tradex was an e- commerce solution for online marketplaces and served the rapidly growing B2B market. Aegerter still owns shares in Target Distribution in Austria, a wholesaler of Apple products.

Aegerter is married and has two children. He lives in Zumikon.
