Daniel Agyei

Daniel Yaw Adjei ( born November 10, 1989 in Dansoman, often written Daniel Agyei ), nicknamed Damba, is a Ghanaian football goalkeeper.

Career

Adjei came 2007 on the junior team of Ghana's first division club Liberty Professionals in Accra. Already in his second year, he was appointed goalkeeper of the team in the Ghana Premier League on.

Daniel Adjei was also the keeper of the U -20 team of Ghana, the first Africa - and then became world champion in 2010. He became a hero of the final match of the U -20 World Cup, when he held three times in a penalty shootout.

Like many of his U-20 companions he also was used after the success in the senior team: On 18 November 2009 he made his debut against Angola. For the Soccer World Cup 2010 in South Africa, he was admitted as a goalkeeper number 3 in the line-up of Ghana. He is regarded as the next number one team in the Black Stars.
