Daniel Bellissimo

Daniel Bellissimo ( born August 15, 1984 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender Italo- who is under contract with Luleå HF in the Swedish Elitserien since April 2013. His brother Vince Bellissimo is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Daniel Bellissimo began his career as a hockey player in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, where he Michael's Buzzers was active from 2001 to 2004 for the Vaughan Vipers, Georgetown Raiders, Stouffville Spirit and St.. He then spent three years at Western Michigan University, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. From 2007 to 2011, the goalkeeper for Asiago Hockey played in the Italian Serie A1. With his team he was Italian Champion in each of the seasons 2009 /10 and 2010/11.

The 2010/11 season spent at Bellissimo Bofors IK in the HockeyAllsvenskan, the Swedish second division. There he was able to convince with good performances and was engaged at the time of the game Timrå IK of the Elitserien in port. For Timrå Bellissimo graduated in the 2012/13 season - 39 Elitserien games in which he had above-average statistics. In April 2013 he transferred within the league for Luleå HF.

Internationally

For Italy Bellissimo took part in the A World Championships in 2010 and 2012, and the B- World Cup 2011.
