Daniel Boone (singer)

Daniel Boone (actually Peter Green, born July 31, 1942 in Birmingham ) is an English singer, who brought out in 1958 under the adopted stage name Peter Lee Stirling 1963-1970 ten singles. In 1971, he chose a new artist named after the American pioneer Daniel Boone and had in the first half of the 1970s, some international singles successes.

His biggest hits on the record label Penny Farthing were Daddy Do not You Walk So Fast ( 1971) and the German number -one hit Beautiful Sunday (1972). In Germany he had with Annabelle (1972 ), Sunshine Lover ( 1973) and Skydiver (1973 ), three minor hits.

As a composer and producer, he oversaw 1973 Kinderduo " The James Boys" who could with his title Over and Over to achieve esteem in some European charts.
