Daniel Buren

Daniel Buren ( born March 25, 1938 in Boulogne- Billancourt, near Paris ) is a French painter and sculptor and is considered representative of the analytical painting and conceptual art.

Life

Buren studied from 1957 to 1960 sculpture and painting at the Ecole des Métiers d'Art in Paris. After a short stay at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, he opted for the painting.

Daniel Buren was a participant in Documenta 5 6 (1977 ) and the Documenta 7 in Kassel in 1972 in the Department Idea Idea / light and at the Documenta in 1982 as an artist.

Work
