Daniel Casey

Daniel Casey ( born June 1, 1972 in Stockton-on- Tees, United Kingdom ) is a British actor who through his role as Detective Sgt Gavin Troy as the first partner (1997-2003 ) on the side of John Nettles as DCI Tom Barnaby became known worldwide in the British crime series Midsomer Murders ( Midsomer Murders ) in the UK and many other countries.

Casey is the son of television journalist Luke Casey and grew up in Stockton -on-Tees in North East England. Already at the age of 14 he was playing in a youth theater. At the University of Durham, he attended Grey College and graduated in English Literature from the degree of BA (Bachelor of Arts). During his studies he decided to become an actor and was discovered at an excellent price with a theater tour. He got the role of the police officer Anthony Cox in the neunfolgigen BBC drama series Our Friends in the North offered, says the 31 years ( 1964-1995 ) from the lives of four friends from Newcastle -upon- Tyne. After his performance in Midsomer Murders, he played the firefighter Tony Barnes in the ITV series Steel River Blues Fire Department ( 2004).
