Daniel Falconer

Daniel Falconer is a New Zealand designer and illustrator.

Biography

Falconer has completed training at the Auckland University of Technology with a major in Graphic Design Illustration and works for Weta Workshop on Design of films. He also illustrated a freelance role-playing games.

Falconer joined Weta Workshop in 1996, shortly before this the film project The Lord of the Rings took over, as he is enthusiastic about developing worlds, cultures and creatures.

His artistic works for the film The Lord of the Rings, in addition to images of Alan Lee, John Howe and others in the three volumes of The Lord of the Rings: To see the creation of a work of art film series.

Daniel Falconer also has a deep knowledge of the universe Tolkiensche what brought him design the film several benefits.

Falconer lives in Wellington.
