Daniel Glimmenvall

Daniel Glimmenvall ( born September 10, 1974 in Glimåkra as Daniel Johansson ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is since 2008 Rögle BK in the Swedish Elitserien under contract. Glimmenvall allowed change in the current in 2009 his surname from Johansson.

Career

The 1.82 m tall defender started his career in the youth of Rögle BK, for even in the Elitserien, he stood on the ice from the 1992/93 season. In 1995, the right-handed shooter to the reigning Swedish champion HV 71 Jönköping, where he played the following four series. After a one year commitment to the Pelicans Lahti in the Finnish SM- liiga Johansson signed a contract with the Swedish first division Brynäs IF, for which he laced up the skates in early 2008.

On January 25, 2008 Daniel Johansson joined the German Ice Hockey Champion Adler Mannheim, who occupied their last free license foreigners with him. However, his contract expired at the end of the season 2007/ 08 and was not renewed, so the Swede returned to his youth club Rögle BK.

Internationally

For the Swedish junior national team Daniel Johansson denied both the Under-18 European Junior Championships in 1992 and the Junior World Championships in 1993 and 1994. Duty in 18 games, scoring five goals he and seven assists.
