Daniel Herrington

Daniel Herrington ( born July 12, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American race car driver.

Career

His first race went Herrington 2003. His motorsport career in Formula racing began in 2004. He first of four races in the U.S. Formula BMW. In 2005 he started the season in the championship and finished the season on top of the twelfth championship course. In 2006, Herrington in the Star Mazda Series. He won a race and finished the season in tenth place overall.

In 2007 he moved to the Indy Pro Series. He participated in five out of sixteen races and finished the season on top of the 23 overall. His best finish was a third place. In 2008, he joined half a season in the now renamed the Indy Lights series. With a seventh place as best result he finished 20th in the championship. In addition, he competed in the Grand-Am Sports Car Series for the first time to a sports car race. In 2009, Herrington the entire season for Bryan Herta Autosport in the Indy Lights in part. In Joliet, he scored his first victory in this championship, which he finished this year in seventh place.

2010 Herrington denied any all season and took on different teams participated in two races in the Indy Lights. He was 21 in the overall standings. 2011 Herrington rose for Sam Schmidt Motorsports for the seventh race in the Indy Lights and participated in three races. At the end of the season he was on the 21st place in the championship. In addition, he took up to three races of the Grand-Am Sports Car Series.
