Daniel J. King

Daniel John King ( born August 28, 1963 in Beckenham ) is an English chess player, chess trainer and chess author.

Daniel King was awarded the title of International Master in 1982 by the FIDE, 1989, the Grand Master title. He leads the chess column in the British newspaper The Guardian.

King played since the Four Nations Chess League 2009/10, which was evaluated in July 2010, no rated games more. Since then, his Elo rating is 2466, his highest ever Elo rating was 2560 in July 1990.

In the British Four Nations Chess League ( 4NCL ) King played in the season 1993 /94 winner Invicta Knights Maidstone from 1994 to 1997 Na Fianna, and from 1997 to 2010 Guildford A & DC (where he in the seasons 1997/98 and 2002 / 03 no game played ), with whom he 2004, 2007 and 2008 won the 4NCL. In the Swiss National League A King played from 1999 to 2003 at the Chess Society Winterthur, in the German Chess Bundesliga 1984-1987 at SC Kreuzberg and from 1993 to 2001 at the SV Castrop -Rauxel.
