Daniel Kinsey

Daniel Chapin Kinsey ( born January 22, 1902 in St. Louis, Missouri, † June 27, 1970 in Richmond, Indiana) was an American track and field athlete. At a height of 1.83 m, it had a competition weight of 72 kg.

At the Olympic Games in 1924 Daniel Kinsey won the 110- meter hurdles in 15.0 seconds at the same time before the South Africans Sydney Atkinson. His only victory outside of the Olympic Games was the victory at the American University Championships ( IC4A ) in 1924.

After graduating as Ph.D. Kinsey was until 1959 he worked as a teacher at Oberlin College before he became Head of Physical Education Department to the Earlham College in Richmond. In the 60s he was also briefly at Delta College in Bay City, Michigan, operates.
