Daniel Linn Gooch

Daniel Linn Gooch ( born October 28, 1853 in Rumsey, McLean County, Kentucky, † April 12, 1913 in Covington, Kentucky ) was an American politician. Between 1901 and 1905 he represented the state of Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Daniel Gooch enjoyed a private school education. He then worked as a pharmacist or as a druggist. Soon he became president of a large company that manufactured pharmaceutical products. Politically, he was a member of the Democratic Party. In the congressional elections of 1900 he was in the sixth electoral district of Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Albert S. Berry on March 4, 1901. After a re-election in 1902 he was able to complete in Congress until March 3, 1905 two legislative sessions.

In 1904 Daniel Gooch was not nominated by his party for another term. He then retired to his retirement. He died on April 12, 1913 in Covington and was buried in Dayton (Ohio ).
