Daniel Mancinelli

Daniel Mancinelli ( born July 23, 1988 in San Severino Marche ) is an Italian racing driver. He enters 2012 in the Italian Porsche Carrera Cup.

Career

Mancinelli began his motorsport career in karting and was active until 2008 in this sport. As early as 2006 he came also to single-seater racing. He took part in four races of the Formula Azzurra part, scoring a podium placement. In 2007, he contested the full season of the Italian Formula Renault, which he finished in 16th place overall. 2008 Mancinelli competed in several racing series. His main focus was on the international Formula Master, in which he drove for different teams. With a second place as best result he closed the season as 13 of the Championship. In addition, Mancinelli again took part in some races in the Italian Formula Renault and debuted in the Italian Formula 3 Championship, where he was instantly recognizable as a third on the podium. Following the regular season, he won the Winter Championship the Italian Formula Renault. In addition to its involvement in Formula Sports Mancinelli made ​​his debut in GT racing and participated in a meeting of the Italian Porsche Carrera Cup.

2009 Mancinelli entered for One racing in the Italian Formula Renault. He scored six wins and won the championship. In addition, he started for his team to some races of the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cup. This championship he finished in 19th place overall. 2010 Mancinelli went for the team Ghinzani in the Italian Formula 3 Championship at the start. He won two races, was seven times on the podium and finished fourth in the championship. He also participated in this year for One racing in two events of the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro some cups. 2011 moved Mancinelli within the Italian Formula 3 Championship to RP Motorsport, winning the season opener. After the first half of the season the team got out of the championship and Mancinelli was without cockpit. In the overall classification, he finished in eleventh place. He eventually moved to RSC Mücke Motorsport in the GP3 Series. He took part in two events. He finished the season off on the 35th place overall.

2012 left Mancinelli formula racing and moved to the GT racing in the Italian Porsche Carrera Cup to MIK Corse.
