Daniel Raymond Massey ( born October 10, 1933, London, † March 25, 1998 ) was a British actor.

Biography

Private life

Daniel Massey was born as the son of actor couple Adrianne and Raymond Massey. When the boy was six years old, his parents divorced and his mother moved to London with Daniel and his sister Anna. There Adrianne Massey married William Attorney Dwight Whitney. The brother of Daniel Massey's father was the later Governor General of Canada Vincent Massey.

Massey married in 1961 his fellow actress Adrienne Corri. The marriage lasted six years and the couple was divorced in 1967. In 1975 he married again with an actress Penelope Wilton. The couple has a daughter. After separating from his second wife, married her sister Lindy Wilton Daniel Massey. With her he was married until his death.

In the early 1990s, a lymph node enlargement was noted in the actor. On March 25, 1998, he finally succumbed to his sufferings.

Career
