Daniel Oliveira

Daniel Oliveira (born 12 July 1985) is a Brazilian rally driver. In 2010 he took part in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge ( IRC). In the 2011 season he will start from the Rally of Portugal in the World Rally Championship, first with a mini S2000, before going into a WRC of the same brand in the course of this season.

Career

Before Oliveira 2010 started in the IRC, it was only a few national events in Brazil and Argentina in rallying active. The first international rally, at which he took part, was the scoring for the World Rally Championship Rally Argentina 2009. He started there with a Subaru Impreza in class N4, reaching with one hour, seventeen minutes and forty-five seconds behind the winner Sébastien Loeb at the 23. overall goal.

In the IRC, he participated in ten of the twelve rallies in the following year. In the "Rally Internacional de Curitiba ", the only rally, which he played for the Austrian team Stohl Racing, he reached the seventh place overall and thus two points of the IRC Championship. The 20th place finish at the Monte Carlo Rally and the 21 place in the " Ralli Vinho da Madeira " were his other achievements this season. For the other seven rallies he left for different reasons prematurely.

Oliveira was the first privateer, who was shopping as a customer of the Prodrive Mini WRC Team and supported at the Rally Portugal 2011 for the new Brazil World Rally Team will start.
