Daniel Pudil

Daniel Pudil ( born September 27, 1985 in Prague) is a Czech football player who is under contract at the Granada CF, but is on loan at the time of the Watford FC

Club career

Daniel Pudil played in his youth for Sparta Prague. At 18, the midfielder saw few prospects to prevail in the first team and moved to Chmel Blšany, where he was used regularly. After only half a year in Blšany Pudil which can also be used on the left side of defense, was obliged Slovan Liberec.

Also in Liberec, the native of Prague prevailed quickly. He was among the top performers of the champion team of 2005/ 06, in 29 games he scored three goals. In September 2007, he was loaned to Slavia Prague in July 2008 changed the midfielder for Belgian side KRC Genk. After the loan agreement with the Italian first division side AC Cesena ended Pudil not returned to his employer Granada CF, who had him committed until the end of June 2016 back, but went - again on loan - for a year to the English second division Watford FC in north London.

National

Pudil was used on 7 February 2007 for the first time in the Czech national team, when he came in the game against Belgium in the second half for Tomáš Rosický on the field. Also for the European Championship qualifiers against Germany and Cyprus in late March 2007 he was nominated by coach Karel Brückner.

Pudil was in the preliminary squad of the Czech national team for the European Championship in 2008, but had to cancel due to a hand injury for the tournament. For Pudil Rudolf Skácel was appointed.

From 2004 to 2006 Pudil was an integral part of the Czech U- 21 team for which he played 14 games and scored a goal.
