Daniel Rezende

Daniel Rezende (born 1969 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian cutter.

Life

Daniel Rezende studied at the University Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing ( ESPM ), and then began an internship with the Brazilian film production company O2 Filmes, where he cut commercials including for Fernando Meirelles. It was then also Meirelles, was allowed to cut the drama City of God for the Rezende and for which he was able to celebrate his greatest success with an Oscar nomination for Best Editing and an award from the British Academy Film Award for Best Editing until now.

In the two short films Blackout and Wing It Rezende took over for the first time the government.
