Daniel Santiago

Daniel Gregg Santiago Lynn (* June 24, 1976 in Lubbock, Texas ) is a Puerto Rican basketball player. It is used on the position of the center or of the power forwards and plays since the 2010/11 season for the Belgian first division club Spirou Charleroi BC.

Santiago began his career in 1995 in the American League NCAA college at the University of New Mexico. After that, he was active in his home for Bayamon, in Italy for the Varese Roosters, with whom he won the Italian championship in the 1998/99 season, and for the NBA's Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks.

With the Puerto Rican national Santiago participated in both the 2002 World Basketball Championship in Indianapolis, 2006 in Japan and 2010 in Turkey, and at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and 2004 in Athens.

From 2005 to 2008 Santiago played in the Spanish professional league ACB league for Unicaja Málaga and was already in his first season with the team from Andalusia to reach the Spanish Cup.
