Daniel Sereinig

Daniel Sereinig ( born May 10, 1982 in Wil | ) is a Swiss- Austrian football player. He plays at the position of central defender.

Career

Daniel Sereinig could develop into a regular player at FC Schaffhausen and played almost every point games. Previously, he was at FC St. Gallen and FC Wil 1900 under contract. In 2007 he moved to Rot- Weiss Essen and has developed into a leading player. Sereinig came to 32 Regional operations, but missed the last round of qualifying for the newly created 3rd league with Rot-Weiss Essen and then left Germany after a year towards Austria. There he played at SC Rheindorf Altach. His debut in Austria was Sereinig on 9 July 2008 against SV Ried. In December 2008 he was on leave at the Vorarlbergians and his contract was terminated in January 2009. End of January 2009 he signed a contract with the German club SC Freiburg, where he was provided as reinforcement for the relegation-threatened Regional team.

In the Regional Team to Sereinig quickly established itself and has since been a regular player. After Pavel Krmaš and Heiko Butscher failed two center-back for the home game against 1 FC Cologne on 2 October 2010 at the Freiburger Erstligamannschaft, Sereinig was as a substitute in the squad and came by Substitutes in the 84th minute for his debut in the German Bundesliga. This was followed by an insert in the DFB Cup from the start and another brief appearance in the first league.

For the second half of 2010/11 Sereinig moved to Switzerland for FC Winterthur. The Challenge League club undertook the veteran for one and a half years ( with an option for another season ).
