Daniel Stendel

Daniel helleborine ( born April 4, 1974 in Frankfurt ( Oder) ) is a former German football player.

He began his career at FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (later: Frankfurter FC Viktoria ) and 1995 professional football player for Hamburger SV. There he could not prevail, and changed only at SV Meppen and later to FC Gütersloh in the 2nd Bundesliga. From 1999 to 2006, the striker played for Hannover 96 in the 2001/ 02 season, he rose with Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga. This season he scored 16 goals, the most goals this season of his career. In the 1st Bundesliga he could keep three years in the expanded group of regulars. In the season 2005/ 06 he did not succeed in this, he completed only six games this season. For the following season 2006/ 07 he moved to the Regionalliga Nord for FC St. Pauli, where he signed a contract until 2008. In 2007 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga.

For the 2007/08 season, he returned to Hannover 96, but this time he played at the amateur team of Lower Saxony in the league and went to end of his career in the coaching staff of the youth training center ( ODT ) of Hannover 96. Hannover 96 II rose above nor in the new Regionalliga (4th league). During his tenure in NLZ leaved piloted among others the then 16 -year-old Christopher Avevor to Hannover 96
