Daniel Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge (2013 )

Daniel Andre Sturridge ( born September 1, 1989 in Birmingham ) is an English footballer who is currently under contract at Liverpool. The striker went through several English junior national teams.

Career

Sturridge began playing football at Coventry City. There he fell to the charge of Manchester City, who piloted him in 2003 in their youth department. Here he went through the youth teams, and came in February 2007 at the 0:2 home defeat against FC Reading as a substitute for Georgios Samaras to his debut in the Premier League. In the following years he was irregular for the club from Manchester used.

After his contract expired in the summer of 2009 he moved to league rivals Chelsea FC, where he signed a four -year contract. With Chelsea in 2010 he won both the championship and the FA Cup. In January 2011 he was loaned to Bolton Wanderers to play matches. After his return Sturridge was under coach André Villas- Boas team regular.

On January 2, 2013 Sturridge moved within the league for Liverpool FC. In his first competitive match against the fifth division club Mansfield Town, he met five minutes to make it 1-0 for Liverpool.

Awards

The "MATCH Magazine" named him as the successor to Theo Walcott as the next big talent in English football.
