Daniel Templon

Daniel templon ( born February 19, 1945 in France ) is a French gallery owner and art dealer whose gallery was one of the most important forty years in Paris in France, which was devoted to modern art.

Work

Already in 1966, at the age of 21 years, templon opened in Paris on rue Bonaparte his first gallery. There he presented from French avant-garde artists such as Christian Boltanski, Ben and Martin Barré and presented foreign artists such as Carl Andre, Donald Judd, Manfred Mohr, Clay Ketter, Dan Flavin, George Brecht, Wolf Vostell and Sol LeWitt to the French audience.

With Catherine Millet iconostasis was in 1972, the magazine for contemporary art art press. In the same year he moved with his gallery in the Rue Beaubourg close to the Pompidou Centre has to offer. In 1986 he founded another art magazine style studio. In the years 1989-1993 he operated in southern France in Frejus, an art foundation.
